Fairhaven
"In order to move sand and building materials around Fairhaven Estate a railway was laid down. It came off the main line, running down St Paul's avenue, encircling the lake and then through the dunes, finishing off halfway down Cartmell Road. Two engines "Fairhaven" and "Preston", ran on these tracks; both came from the Hudswell Clarke Railway Foundry. The railway was removed about 1917."
