During this two year project, a wonderful team of volunteers has digitised over 50000 historic images from the collections at Accrington, Burnley, Nelson, and Colne libraries, and these are gradually being added to Red Rose Collections.The project - funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Friends of Lancashire Archives - also created new images of East Lancashire, in partnership with schools and community groups, and collected additional historic images. These too are being added to Red Rose Collections.
