This fourth image also shows a carved oak panel, part of the dado in the Dining Room. The Hall is reputed to be the oldest Hall in Craven, dating from 1229. It underwent substantial renovation in the 19th Century but was demolished in 1959 after falling into disrepair after the First World War.

This fourth image of a carving is, like the others, of high quality and appears to be late Mediaeval in style but the smoothness and patina of the wood suggest it is much more recent, probably Victorian.
