Henry Littler, David Hodgson
Designed by architect Henry Littler, the building was opened in 1912 as an Art and Technical College for the Borough of Morecambe, later housing the Grammar School, and then providing accomodation for Lancaster & Morecambe College. Built in a Neo-Classical style, materials used include Cinnabar Red Accrington brick, cream ashlar sandstone and Cumbrian slate for the roof. A weather vane sits on top of a Tuscan-influenced cupola with domed lead roof.
