Dunsop
Dunsop Bridge is a late 18th century bridge over the river Dunsop. The village stands at the foot of the Featherbed, which means watershed, the ancient name for the Trough of Bowland, the moorland track to Lancaster. The village stands in the heart of the Duchy of Lancaster estates in Lancashire. The village grew around the blacksmiths forge, now the local garage.
