Miss Weir worked at Stephen Simpson (Est 1829) Ltd. The firm were gold and silver wire drawers, embroiderers and manufacturers of gold and silver thread, plate, laces, cords and braids. The picture shows a display from the firm in one of the windows of St John's Church.
