This is one of series of images on slides that were loaned to us in May 2012 by Mr Desmond Christiani from Penwortham. Mr Christiani came to Preston from British Guyana in 1953, married a girl from Penwortham and spent all his working life at Horrockses. He has had an enduring interest in photography and brought a camera with him when he arrived in Britain.
