The original image was loaned to us by Mrs Mary Jones of Longridge in April 2012. It was taken during the 1972 Guild and shows the floats for drama groups from around Preston on Lancaster Road. This was organised by Preston Drama Club but drama groups from across Preston took part. Presumably the chap with the tabard and sword is St George!
