Lytham
The image is a photographic print taken from a postcard. Lowther Gardens is the oldest park in Lytham St Annes. They were provided by Talbot Clifton in 1872 in honour of his wife, Eleanor (of the Lowther family in Cumbria) and in memory of her father. Prior to their development as gardens, the area was previously poor grazing land known as Hungry Moor.
