Burnley Belvedere F.C. are an amateur football team originally founded ca. 1881.

They were in the habit of going on an Easter Tour and in April 1904 played matches in South Wales, the photo is taken at Abergavenny, where they won their opening game 5-0 on 2nd April 1904, with goals by Harrison (2), Holt, Landless and Bell, they were less successful in their remaining games against Ebbw Vale and Aberdare, losing 3-1 and 5-1.

According to the Club's history, the treasurer at the time, J. Selwyn Grant, went on tour with them, and had a specially adapted overcoat with deep inside pockets, as he was in charge of all the money for the tour plus the player's personal cash whilst they were on the field, presumably this was one of a few overcoats in the image.
The club eventually went out of existence but was revived in 1930. They are now part of the Belvedere and Calder Vale multi sports club, and were East Lancs League Champions 2018.
