Waterfall at Roughlee
Roughlee
The waterfall is caused by a weir which fed a leat to the lodge for Judson's Mill in Roughlee. By the early 20th century the mill had closed and the lodge became a popular boating lake and pleasure gardens. These in turn closed and the lake is now a trout hatchery.
