Padiham
The old footbridge at the end of Pendle Street, Padiham. The photograph was taken looking down the line towards Burnley.

The railway to Padiham opened in 1875. The passenger line closed in 1957 and the station was duly demolished. However, the line remained open in order to deliver coal to Padiham power station. The line closed for good when the power station was demolished in 1993.
