This photograph taken in 1965 shows the bus station , which was located in Queens Square in Rawtenstall. The Queens Arms Hotel can be seen to the left of the image and the shops along Bury Road at its junction with Bacup Road. The bus station was demolished when the by-pass (St Mary's Way) was constructed.
