Photograph shows a view of Burnley Road, Rawtenstall taken in about 1900. The nuilding centre left of the image was the fire station, which is now used by Youth Services. It was taken from Tup Bridge and looking towards the Cemetery Gates and shows a number of buildings which were demolished. One of the houses has steps on the outside of the building. The street was known as King Street on the 1890s OS map. Note the cobble and the tram lines in the road.
