Built in 1863 by Lord Every Clayton (b.1841).
The Landlord Mr. W. Cooper stood with bowler hat in front of the window of the smoke room, He applied for a license in January 1904.
His son, Jesse is standing in the doorway. Note the glass barrel over the doorway.
The motto on the sign translates: 'Everything Comes To He Who Waits'.
