First steps towards possible development of the former Classic Cinema, Morecambe in co-operation with the City Council were being taken yesterday. Mr Fred Edmondson, the local businessman who owns the old cinema, was meeting the Council's Chief Executive, Mr J D Waddell, to discuss various proposals.
