Considerable interest is being shown in the prospects of a former cinema in Morecambe being converted into a leisure centre. Mr Fred Edmondson, one of the leaders of the project to put the old Classic Cinema, at the junction of Euston Road and Thornton Road, to good use, is receiving a lot of encouragement from well wishers.
