Junction of 'little' Blackburn Road and Peel Street in the late 1940s. Lloyds Bank was on the corner with Currys Electrical Store, Melia's Grocers and Garth Dawson photographic shop close by. Lloyds Bank building later became Ogdens Jewellers and is now a beauty parlour.
