General notes
Photograph shows Newchurch village, outside the Lamb Inn. This could be the annual Rush Bearing ceremony, or perhaps the Whitsuntide Walk. Looking at the clothes the photograph seems to date from before WWI, although the Lamb Inn does not appear in the 1911 trade directory. However, it does appear in a Kenton's postcard of 1915.
