General notes
Procession before laying of foundation stone at St Andrew's Church, Accrington.

User feedback: 'The Church is located on Swiss Street, Accrington. There was previously a tin or wooden structure on site. My father, John Addison, born 21st June 1913, was one of the first babies to be christened in the new stone Church. The Vicar was Rev. Dodd, who was later Vicar of Immanuel Church in Oswaldtwistle for many years. Adjoining the Church, on Russia Street, was the Day School (now used as a Salvation Army Hostel). From there my father passed his Scholarship in 1924 to Accrington Grammar School.' 27/04/2024.
