Stone cross and tablet commemorating the existence of a medieval cross, Lea Road. T.H.Myers lectured widely and wrote several booklets on antiquarian subjects. Inscription reads - To the Glory of God and in memory of the pioneer of restoration of roadside crosses Thomas Harris Myres of Lea Lodge and of Catherine Mary his wife. The base of the cross officially stood 20 yards west of this spot and was removed here and dedicated July 27th,1929?'.
