"Armistice Day Service at Accrington War Memorial in Oak Hill Park on Sunday afternoon November 10th 1929. The Rev Guy Ramsey Pastor of Cannon St Baptist Church giving an address. Representatives of various bodies, and relatives of the fallen with wreaths for placing on the Cenotaph. It usually attracts a large crowd. Accompanied by the Teritorials, Fire Brigade, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Ambulance Brigade, Town Councillors, Officials etc, etc."
