General notes
Possibly a reversed image. The school was built after the style of Christ church school only on a smaller scale. In its latter days it was in use as a newsroom for the village. It occupied a corner of a field, now built upon, by the row of brick houses on the opposite side to the church. The end of the row nearest the Bay Horse covers the site of the old school.
