The Old School House in Newchurch is of 17th century origin and was restored in the early 19th century when it was then used as a school room. When the first Day School opened in the village in 1825, the Old School House became the schoolmaster’s home. It is situated at 3 Cross Lane, Newchurch-in-Pendle.
