This is an image from the front of a postcard showing the view of Rhyddings Street from the park. The postcard is postmarked from Accrington at 9.30pm on August 12th 1913, addressed to a Miss Alice Taylor who was in the care of a Mrs Howe at 21 Albert Road in Blackpool, from her cousin Hannah.

The message reads: "Dear Alice, Just a line to say we are having lovely weather here, it makes one long to be at the seaside having a donkey ride. Your Affectionate Cousin Hannah"
