General notes
The Bird Bath
The bird Bath is secludedly situated in its small pool of water fringed with rock plants and borders.
The stem rises clear from the water, and supports a chaste bowl in which rises a small female figure, with an object to her mouth as if to call her feathered friends, the birds, for whom this is provided as a bath.
This will be a great appeal to the birds, as they prune and bathe themselves unmolested
It is a kindly thought to think of these creatures and to make this spot in our Public Park a Birds' sanctuary.
" it is a beautiful thought of God. He turned his mind from big things to fashion little things, like the beautiful birds and flowers."
