South view of the Hall showing mullioned windows which had been blocked up, perhaps to evade the Window Tax. In 1735, the Higher Antley Estate, along with the Hall, were purchased for £460 as an endowment for St. James' Church. Higher Antley was farmed for many years by Mr. Whitehead, and afterwards by the Ingham family.
