First Vicar of St. Johns from 1870-1895. Ordained as a priest by the Bishop of Lichfield in 1863. Served as a curate at Bilston, Staffs, and then St. James, Accrington. Died on holiday in Silverdale in 1895 where he is buried (see photo of his grave).
