Mayor Councillor Constatine, Town Clerk Warhurst, Extreme right, behind potted plant in bowler hat Mr Herbert Cunliffe, partner in the main contractors of the work (Cunliffe ?) Laying the Foundation Stone of Fire Station. Man wearing a smock to the left of the foundation stone is George Hindle, stonemason for Cunliffes. He is great uncle of June Huntingdon of Christ Church Street - famous mother of triplets. He retired and in 1986 lived in Morecambe
