This letter to Edward Baines, the ninth of sixteen bound volumes that form the Baines Manuscript Collection at the Preston Harris Library, is dated 15 March 1832 from R.T. Hampson, 16 Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road, London.
Hampson was employed by Edward Baines to find and copy material for the "History of the County Palatine and Duchy of Lancaster", published by Baines in 1836.
