Borough of Accrington Celebration of Peace July 18th 1919. This party visited all Elementary, Secondary and Private schools in the borough. The Mayor and Councillor Langham (Chairman of the Education Committee) addressed the scholars in each school in celebration of the signing of peace. Commemorative medals were distributed to every scholar. from left to right Nurse Munro, Mr Beckett, Mayor, Mayoress, Mr Knowles, Coun. Langham.
