A Lancaster Aviation enthusiast's plans to shed light on a little-known part of local history are set to take off. Mr Simon Phillipson, 34, of Lune Street, Skerton, has been comissioned by Lancaster City Museums to write a 28-page booklet on the District's pre 1914 aviation history.
