The field was part of Digmoor Hall Farm which was demolished during the development of Skelmersdale New Town. The houses in the photo remain and are on Spencers Lane.
The land is now residential. The
tractor is a grey Ferguson known as a Fergie. The last owner of the farm was the Almond family, but in the 1950s it was farmed by the Moss brothers.
