Photograph shows the clearing away of the Milton Street Bowling Greens for the M65 motorway. These two bowling greens were in the path of the M65 motorway and were closed on the 17th September 1982. Replacement greens and a pavilion, were constructed across Carr Road next to Victoria Park, but these have now (2014) closed. The pile of rubble beyond the bowling greens is the lower part of Beddington Street.
