General notes

Palatine and Woolworths' buildings, Blackpool Promenade. The Palatine building is now "The Sands". Woolworths' opened in 1938, the Art Deco store had three sales floors and two 2,000 seat restaurants on the upper levels. When it closed in 1983 the building became a 'Price Buster' store. This closed in 2007 and the Promenade frontage is now the 'Albert and The Lion' pub.
