On Friday 31st August an Antiques Discovery day was held in the Arndale Centre (now Pendle Rise Shopping Centre). It was organised by Nelson Rotary Club in aid of the local branch of the Samaritans. Antiques were assessed by experts from Salmesbury Hall. Here, one of the mayoral chains is being valued.
