General notes
The playing fields continued to be used following the construction of the M65. In June 2014 the Steven Burke Sports Hub was opened at the SW end of the fields. Named after the Olympic Gold Medal winning cyclist the Hub has a 1km closed road circuit for use by cyclists of all abilities.
