Unusually, Buck left this image untitled. Nor is it dated, but would appear to be late Victorian/Edwardian judging by the dress of the observers. The location is yet to be established but the church in the background suggests it is an important whole-village event. Certainly, those present have dressed smartly for the occasion. The image shows a male high jumper (the somewhat blurred figure in the foreground).
