General notes
Major and Mrs Wright were the last owners of the Bolton Hall. After the Majors death the hall was infested with dry rot. Mrs Wright had a riding accident and was confined to a wheelchair. There was a serious fire at the Hall and the subesquent damage rendered the Hall unsafe and it was demolished in the 1950s.
