General notes

This view of the expansive Cloister Court looks south eastwards from the north-west corner. The remains of the Refectory wall and its Lavatorium are clearly visible to the right of the image, beside the arched doorway which led into the Refectory. The wall shown on the left half of the image is what remains of the walls of the Sacristy, Chapter House and Penitentiary. The large arched doorway to the Sacristy is not included in this image but the first on the left is that to the Chapter House and the second (nearer the corner), the doorway to the Penitentiary.
