General notes
The East window is of five lights with tracery under a pointed head. The mullions and tracery are the original 15th Century work but may have replaced 5 earlier lancet windows. The glass on which were painted shields of arms of families and persons connected with the church was inserted in 1816 although some glasswork was renewed in 1934.

The church website notes that the current East Window was donated by members of the Green family commemorating their parents and their brother who died in action in 1916. It shows the Arms of the County and the Abbey above images of King Arthur, St. George and St. Nicholas. Below them are scenes from the legends of King Arthur and St. Nicholas.

The buttresses on either side are from the 13th Century and were left untouched by the work on the East window.
