This is the Lodge house to Eaves Hall which was built in 1864 for John Burton, a wealthy cotton mill owner, it has seen many owners since. It was an hotel for senior civil servants but the current owner in 2022 is James Warburton a local entrepreneur who owns a number of hotels in Lancashire and Yorkshire including the Emporium and Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. It is now primarily a wedding venue.
