The image location is close to Lowerhouse Cricket Club, where there is now a small park, the cottages in the background were demolished in the 1960s and traces can be seen in the cricket club perimeter wall. The houses on the right on Lowerhouse Lane lost their railings to the war effort around 1940/41. The Bean vehicle dates from around 1930.
