In 1935 the Royal Lancashire Show was held between the 1st and the 5th of August on the Prairie playing fields, Burnley.

Here, members of the show's committee are arranged for a photograph outside the Council Pavilion. It is difficult to put names to faces, but most of the committee would have been councillors or judicial officers (J.P.'s).
