The construction of the new Culvert and the laying of tram lines on Yorkshire Street. The Culvert, seen here being replaced in 1926, is used to carry the Leeds to Liverpool Canal over Yorkshire Street. In the distance one can see the old Yorkshire Hotel, which was demolished in 1960.
