Clitheroe Cenotaph and Castle Keep viewed from the entrance drive to Clitheroe Castle. The sculptor of the statue was Louis Frederick Roslyn. It was erected in remembrance of the 323 local servicemen who died in the First World War. It was unveiled on 18 August 1923 by the Mayor of Clitheroe, Lord Derby. An additional dedication was added later to commemorate serviceman who died in the Second World War.
