Photograph taken in 1967 shows the bus station in the centre of the image. The bus station was situated in Queens Square until it was demolished when the by-pass, St Mary's Way was constructed. The library dome can be seen to the right of the photograph. The picture was probably taken from the juntion of Bacup Road and Bury Road.
