Whittlefield Shed, later known as Susan Mill was built in c1880 and was home to 542 weaving looms. In the second half of the 20th century the mill was split up and became home to various other industries and businesses. During redevelopment of the Whittlefield area in the 1980's, this section of the mill was spared demolition.
