General notes
In February 1937, Octavia sank in less than quarter of an hour after a collision with the Fleetwood trawler 'George Cousins' 12 miles east of Maughold Head, near Ramsey in the Irish Sea. The deck had been ripped open. All the crew members managed to get aboard the George Cousins and then returned to Fleetwood. Octavia was the fifth Fleetwood trawler to be lost in three months.
