In 1927 the tramlines were extended eastwards, up Yorkshire Street and Brunshaw Road. Here a new junction is being created that connects the existing track on Church Street with the new line of Yorkshire Street. The shops at the end of Yorkshire Street are (left to right) Veronne's Gown Shop, Eastham's Florists, Dorringham's Drapers, Haworth's Tailors and (left, near) Madam Smith's Milliners.
